First Finland order for Hart Doors
We are happy to announce that we have received our first order from Finland for our fast-action, security baggage-handling doors.
The order, for sixty security doors for check-in desks, for one of the largest airports in Finland which handles 20m passengers a year flying by a choice of 26 airlines to 135 destinations.
“This is excellent news for our staff. Over the Covid period we have won nine contracts for Airports from Hong Kong to Helsinki and in the UK Inverness and Sumburgh, Shetland Isles,” says Nick Hart, Hart’s managing director.
“We anticipate more export orders before the year-end. This shows our focus on design excellence for security doors and necessary product testing to comply with the requirements of very busy infrastructure projects such as airports, is paying off. To date over 800 Hart doors have been supplied in nearly 40 airports around the world.”
Our revolutionary high-speed conveyor door, which is capable of 200 cycles per hour, is suited for specialist applications such as high frequency conveyor belt systems requiring security and safety between the public area and baggage system mechanics.
It can be fully integrated with a conveyor system, together with all relevant inputs and outputs equipped to deal with any requirement.
During 2020 Hart Doors has continued to work with sophisticated companies such as the Beumer Group which offers intra-logistic solutions for conveying, loading, palletising, packaging, sortation and baggage handling. “We are an important part of the need to deliver fast and secure baggage handling to ensure airports function quickly and efficiently,” adds Mr Hart. The Helsinki contract is for the Beumer Group. Delivery will take place next spring and will be by road, a return journey of some 4000 miles.
