Area Sales Manager – The South

Location: The South
Salary: £40,000 – £50,000 (uncapped commission)
Contract: Full Time, Permanent

Are you a dedicated, hardworking Area Sales Manager? Do you live in the South of England? Capable of covering a sales territory which includes Hertfordshire, Essex, London Kent, Surrey – down into Hampshire and the Home Counties?

Ideally you will be experienced in the Industrial Door Industry and will be able to build and maintain lasting relationships with existing and new customers.

MAIN PURPOSE AND SCOPE OF THE JOB

Hart Door Systems are recruiting for a hungry sales professional to be responsible for promoting our portfolio for Industrial Doors throughout the South of England. Ideally, you will have experience of the Industrial Door Industry, but more importantly you will be looking for a position with a fantastic opportunity to progress your career in sales.

The successful candidate will be one who is able to prove a track record of winning business in a competitive environment through hard work and diligence. DUTIES AND KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • To respond timely to enquires generated by marketing and sales activities by visiting client’s sites to present, advise, survey and measure providing data adequate for specification, quotation and future production of the doors.
  • Development of product knowledge and product fit for best practice in site surveys.
  • To regularly call on existing customers, maintaining contact.
  • Liaise with clients on all aspects including contracts, terms and conditions as required.
  • Achieve targets and budgets.
  • Communicate effectively via phone, face to face, email, social media etc.
  • Create and implement personal business plans in line with Hart Door Systems company vision and strategy.
  • Report as required, all activities particularly on CRM including contacts and content.
  • To exclusively prospect, promote and sell Hart doors and supporting products under the brands Speedor, Firebrand, rolling shutters and Terror screen to all market sectors within the specified area.

  • Development of product knowledge and product fit for best practice in installation surveys.
  • To regularly call on existing customers, maintaining contact.
  • To deliver quotations and tenders.
  • Provide field intelligence, customer focus and PR marketing material for planning and marketing use.
